Country Place Plano, Inc., incorporated in 1972, is a neighborhood of just over 300 families located on 94 acres next to one of Plano's most beautiful parks with walking and bike trails, playgrounds, and a beautiful lake and creek.  The neighborhood elementary school is visible just across the lake.

 

We have an active Homeowner's Association (HOA) that oversees the Country Place common grounds which includes our Clubhouse (the Treehouse), pool, barbeque and picnic areas, tennis courts, and a sand volleyball court.  Our HOA sponsors many activities and maintains the high standards of the neighborhood.

 

Big Lake Park contains many trees and is well maintained by the City of Plano.  The common grounds owned by Country Place are located on 4.066 acres of land and lie adjacent to the park.  The proximity of the park and its maintenance complement the well-kept yards of our members and the private scenic area around our Treehouse.  This not only enhances the value of our properties, but also makes for a beautiful, peaceful, family-oriented community.

 

The monthly Country Place Newsletter as well as our website keep our members informed of the activities and other items of interest to the neighborhood.  Our activities include the annual Crawfish Festival, Splash Day, our Fourth of July Celebration, Luau, Oktoberfest, and many children's activities.  Splash Day is our official opening date for our swimming pool. The fourth of July celebration includes a parade, lunch, and a BBQ dinner.  Monthly social activities and club meetings enhance the active social life at Country Place and increase the sense of community in our neighborhood.

 

We have many amenities to offer our residents/members.  Our Treehouse serves as a Clubhouse and is available for a small rental fee for exclusive parties and events.  There are two partially covered picnic areas with large gas grills also available for exclusive events. We also have four lighted tennis courts, a half court dedicated to basketball and handball, a large pool, a shaded playground, a sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, tether ball, and a dog park.  We provide paid lifeguards during the summer months during certain specific hours.
